Overview

The EP-6500 fully automatic combustion pyrolysis ion chromatography decomposes the processed material at high temperatures in an aerobic environment. Its characteristic is that the entire process from sample addition, combustion, absorption, injection to ion chromatography is highly automated. It can be used in combination with traditional ion chromatography to quickly complete the pre-treatment and detection of a sample. Single or dual systems can be used for the detection of anions and cations. Sample types include plastics, food, various ores, soil, and cement. Changing the injection head can also detect liquids, including petroleum products, beverages, and especially various viscous liquid samples.

Product Details

1. Quick analysis

By using a rapid chromatography column, 5 elements including iodide ions can be analyzed within 8 minutes.

The pre-treatment device of the combustion furnace can inject the absorbent into the ion chromatography within 8 minutes.

Therefore, high-speed synchronization can achieve analysis of 6-7 samples per hour.

2. Save space

Due to the adoption of a vertical combustion furnace in the CIC system for the first time, an integrated design includes an automatic sampler, combustion device

The absorption device and injection device are integrated into one module, thus saving approximately 60cm in width.

3. Simplify

The touch screen is easy to operate and use, using humidified clean air without the need for argon or oxygen (eliminating the use of steel cylinders).

The sample package uses a disposable tin boat, which eliminates the need for cleaning or baking the sample container.

4. Application

Adding halogens (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine) to polymer products such as plastics to increase their ignition point is widely used in industrial and civilian products. But when it burns, it produces a large amount of toxic gas, and the solution formed when combined with water vapor has strong corrosiveness. However, due to the presence of halogens in solids, traditional methods are difficult to detect.

Combustion cracking, abbreviated as AQF, combined with ion chromatography can easily solve the above problems.
