Plug-in electric meterAlso known as an IC card meter, it consists of a base meter, a main control microcontroller chip, a digital display, relay switches, ESAM modules, and an IC card interface.

1Plug-in electric meterThe single-phase electronic prepaid energy meter is used to measure single-phase AC active energy with a reference frequency of 50Hz and a reference voltage of 220V.
2 Plug-in electric meterMain Technical Data
2.1 The performance of this table meets the relevant requirements of GB/T18460.3-2001.
2.2 The product is used indoors under working conditions of -10~45 ℃ and 25%~85% humidity. (Extreme temperature -20 ℃.)
2.3 Plug-in electric meterspecifications
Rated voltage (V), calibrated current (rated maximum current) (A)
220 5(20),10(40),15(60),20(80),30(100)
4 Plug-in electric meterInstallation and usage methods
When installing an electric energy meter, the installation position should be kept vertical and connected according to the wiring diagram.
4.1 Open the cover of the terminal knob box of the electric energy meter, and then connect the terminals according to the wiring diagram to connect the power supply.
4.2 The user inserts the pre purchased power IC card into the meter in the direction of the arrow on the card (with the metal contact facing left). The display first shows F1, then displays the purchased power for this time, and then stabilizes at F2. The display then shows the sum of the original remaining power and the newly purchased power as the current remaining power. At this point, the IC card can be removed and the display will turn off. If the remaining power in the meter is lower than the displayed alarm power, the display will remain on. If the sum of the remaining power in the meter and the power in the purchase card is greater than 9999 kWh, the power in the card will not be input into the meter and will still be saved in the card. )
When the user uses electricity, the pulse indicator light will flash accordingly.
4.4 Prepaid energy meters automatically perform a decreasing calculation on the purchased electricity during normal use. When the remaining power in the energy meter is less than 20 kWh, the display will show the current remaining power to remind the user to purchase electricity. When the remaining power is equal to 10 kWh, a power outage will remind the user to purchase electricity. At this time, the user needs to insert the IC card into the energy meter to restore power supply once. Stop power supply when the remaining battery level is zero.
4.5 One meter, one card. After each new purchase of electricity, users can only insert their own energy meter to input the valid electricity once.
4.6 The display of the energy meter usually does not light up. If the user needs to check the remaining power, they can insert the IC card into the energy meter, and F1 will display the purchased power as zero, F2 will display the remaining power as zero, and unplugging the card will display it as off.
4.7 Every time the user inserts the IC card into the energy meter, the meter will write back all the user's electricity usage information on the IC card. When the user purchases electricity next time, the electricity sales management system will read the IC card data summary and check whether the user is using electricity legally. Electricity inspectors can also use inspection cards to check the user's electricity usage.
4.8 The power supply management department shall set the maximum electricity load for users based on the actual situation. When the actual electricity load exceeds the set value, power supply is stopped and the meter display shows "E2", reminding the user to reduce the electricity load. The user needs to insert the IC card into the energy meter to restore power supply.
5 Plug-in electric metermatters needing attention:
5.1 Prepaid energy meters should be used under specified conditions.
5.2 After the prepaid energy meter interrupts the user's power supply, the energy meter and circuit components are still working with electricity. Please pay attention to safety.
To ensure the correct reading and writing of IC cards, wait for the display to stabilize before removing the IC card after each insertion.
5.4 Save the IC card without breaking, contaminating, or soaking it. If lost, promptly report to the power supply department and apply for a replacement card.
A. What should you do if the electricity cannot enter the meter after you purchase it?
(1) Firstly, check if the card in your hand is the card for this watch;
(2) Please go to the department responsible for purchasing electricity to check if the IC card meter number is incorrect;
(3) When the sum of the remaining electricity in the meter and the electricity in the purchase card is greater than 9999 kWh, the electricity in the card will not be input into the meter and will still be stored in the card.
B. What should you do if your home suddenly runs out of electricity?
(1) Check if there is a power outage in the circuit
(2) Check if the electricity meter displays E2 (power outage due to overload of the energy meter). If so, you should reduce the electricity consumption at home and insert the IC card into the meter's socket to restore power supply.
be careful!!! When the prepaid energy meter displays E2 overload and power outage, please note that the energy meter and circuit components are still live.
(3) Check if there is power on the upper opening of the knife switch in your meter box; (If there is electricity, it may be due to your fuse burning out or a malfunction in the indoor wiring, which needs to be resolved by yourself)
6 Plug-in electric meterTransportation and storage
6.1 Electric energy meters should not be subjected to severe impacts during transportation and unpacking.
6.2 The electric energy meter should be stored in its original packaging and placed on an indoor bracket or shelf. The indoor temperature should be within the range of 0-40 ℃, the relative humidity should not exceed 85%, and there should be no gas in the air that can cause corrosion, and the temperature should not change dramatically.
7 Plug-in electric meterWarranty period
Within 18 months from the date of purchase, if the requirements specified in this user manual are followed and the seal is intact, and the performance of the electric energy meter is not qualified, our factory will provide free repair or replacement.
Plug-in electric meterpurpose
Users need to make payment to the power supply department to purchase electricity. The purchased electricity is written into the user's electricity card on the selling machine, which is then transmitted to the meter. The electricity card is encrypted multiple times to ensure reliable use by the user. When the purchased electricity is used up, the relay in the meter will automatically cut off the power supply circuit.
Feature and advantage
1. No manual meter reading is required, which is beneficial for modern management. The use of IC card meters avoids the inconvenience caused to customers by manual meter reading and door-to-door charging, and historical electricity purchase data can be saved for easy customer inquiry.
2. It fully embodies the commodity attributes of electricity. Implementing the policy of buying electricity before using it, customers can purchase and use electricity according to their actual needs in a planned manner, without incurring late fees or unnecessary expenses due to arrears.
3. Solved the problem of difficult charging. It can effectively solve the charging problems of scattered residential customers, temporary electricity customers, and customers who frequently owe fees. 4. IC card electric meters have various anti-theft functions, such as low starting current, no creep, wide load, low power consumption, straight error curve, good stability during long-term operation, beautiful appearance, small size, light weight, and easy installation. High accuracy: Fully electronic design, built-in imported dedicated chip, accuracy is not affected by frequency, temperature, and voltage high-order harmonics.
5. Long lifespan: Adopting SMT technology and optimized circuit design, the whole machine does not need to adjust the circuit after leaving the factory.
6. Low power consumption: Adopting a low-power design to reduce power grid line losses.
7. Pre order electricity quantity; IC card transfers data and implements data retrieval, including: retrieval of total electricity consumption, remaining electricity consumption, accumulated purchased electricity in the meter, total number of purchased electricity times, and other information.
8. Store table constants, initial values, user addresses, names, and other information.
9. Overload alarm, power outage, remaining battery alarm, reminding users to purchase electricity in a timely manner.
10. Technical parameters: Adopting a long-life base table to extend the service life
