The InfraRed Associates dual color infrared detector includes liquid nitrogen cooled and Stirling cooled HgCdTe/InSb dual color infrared detectors, which are used to simultaneously detect infrared radiation in two bands: medium wave 1-5.5 microns and long wave 5.5-12.5 microns (expandable to 22 microns).
