Working principle of IFM liquid level sensor:
IO Link sensors typically provide multiple measurement values simultaneously, such as conductivity sensors with integrated temperature detection capabilities. In order to connect these sensors to existing control systems, IO Link converters can convert two digital measurement values into two analog signals (4 20 mA). In this way, the system hardware can prepare for future digitization while meeting existing needs. This converter can be used directly without parameterization. But when necessary, it can also be parameterized through IO Link, such as for scaling analog values.
