The Yifumen IFM photoelectric switch is a type of sensor that converts the changes in light intensity between the transmitting and receiving ends into changes in current for detection purposes. Due to the electrical isolation (i.e. electrical insulation) between the output circuit and input circuit of the photoelectric switch, it can be applied in many situations.
