The integrated corrosion management system provides a comprehensive corrosion data management solution for asset management. The system provides an input method for corrosion data, which can receive input data from multiple RCS hardware configurations including multi-point RS-485 probe interface units (PIM'S), CORROSOMETER, and CORRATER transmitters, input data from the CORRDATA data recording system, and manual input data from probes and hangers.

The biggest advantage of this system is its ability to easily identify the correlation between corrosion data and various process parameters from a distributed control system (DCS). The DCS system is optimized for process control, but it is difficult to perform correlation calculations and call process data from the past few days and weeks, which is exactly what corrosion control and management require.
