The hysteresis dynamometer consists of a toothed pole stator, a hollow hysteresis cup rotor, an excitation coil, a bracket, a base plate, etc. When the internal coil of the hysteresis dynamometer passes current, magnetic lines are generated and a magnetic circuit is formed to generate torque. Changing the excitation current can change the load torque.

Suitable for testing motors with small and medium torque but high speed, such as constant torque loaded starting of starter motors, asynchronous motors, low-power DC motors, series excited motors, and electric tools, especially suitable for testing the dynamic characteristic curves of various motors.
