In the signal processing stage of the Hydac flow sensor EVS 3100/3110 series, the frequency of these pulse signals is proportional to the volumetric flow rate. The electronic module inside the sensor linearizes these frequency signals and converts them into standard 4-20mA analog current signals for output. This standard current signal has anti-interference ability and can be transmitted over long distances to PLC, DCS or upper computer systems without being affected by changes in line resistance. The EVS 3100 series typically uses an aluminum alloy shell, while the EVS 3110 series has been upgraded to stainless steel material and equipped with hard alloy bearings for the impeller.
