This is a small measuring instrument designed to assist development and testing engineers in quickly selecting and testing high-temperature superconducting materials. By using the direct current magnetization method, the critical temperature Tc of the sample can be detected through the change of magnetic moment, and the critical current density Jc of the sample can be approximately calculated. The curve of magnetic moment and temperature can be displayed on a computer monitor to determine the relevant characteristics of the sample and provide relevant basis for future development work.
Usage: Place the sample into a container and add liquid nitrogen for measurement.
Design concept:
Rapid testing of superconducting samples
Abandoning the cumbersome four lead measurement method
Quickly and easily test the Jc and Tc of the sample
working principle:
This device is specifically designed for laboratory research on superconducting thin film materials. Place the sample in liquid nitrogen between a DC excitation coil and a high-performance magnetic field sensor. When the sample is below the superconducting critical temperature, the test sample will not be affected by the coil magnetic field. As the liquid nitrogen disappears, the sample heats up and crosses the critical temperature, so more magnetic flux from the coil is transferred to the sensor. The variation of magnetic flux is related to the product of superconducting critical current density (Jc) and superconducting thin film thickness. The sensor will read, providing a fast and comparable measurement method for whether your sample has superconductivity.
Product features:
1. The main control component includes calibration control and operation switches
2. Display the output of the magnetic sensor and the current of the excitation coil on the monitor
3. The sample holder, excitation coil, and K-type thermocouple are contained in the liquid nitrogen reservoir
4. Digital thermometer monitors the temperature of the sample
5. The magnetic sensing element provides precise positioning for the sample holder assembly
6. Calibration control can eliminate the influence of stray fields around the sample and magnetic fields caused by coils
Advantages of the product:
1. Provide a method for comparing the properties of superconducting thin film materials at 77K~100K, in order to enable thin film bonding
The impact and form of changes in the composition can be quickly established.
2. Approximate measurement of superconducting critical temperature
3. The sample size only requires 1cm2
4. No need for electrical contact with the sample to avoid resistance heating effect
5. It does not rely on complete current penetration, so imperfect samples containing cracks can still be measured
6. High testing accuracy, solving the problems of magnetic moment and AC loss caused by traditional AC measurement
