Overview

In this era of advanced technology and exploration of complex environments, low-temperature engineering has always been a core challenge in cooling fields such as quantum computing, nuclear fusion devices, and deep space exploration, using high-purity 6N oxygen free copper stranded wire for temperature measurement. When the temperature drops to a low temperature of 4.2K (-268.95 ℃), the performance of conventional materials will sharply deteriorate. However, the ZS-6N oxygen free copper wire from Zhaosheng Machinery, known as the "leader of ultra-low temperature conductors" and the 6N oxygen free copper stranded wire cold conductor strip, is writing a new chapter in this cold world.

Product Details

High purity 6N oxygen free copper stranded wire for temperature measurement

Parameters of ZS-6N oxygen free copper stranded wire:

99.9999% low temperature 4.2K cooling strip, single copper wire diameter 0.05mm

Overview:

99.9999% oxygen free copper has high purity, high conductivity, and thermal conductivity, making it suitable for applications that require high material performance. Its physical properties and characteristics have been confirmed by multiple sources, demonstrating the consistency of the data.

Thermal conductivity:

The conventional oxygen free copper has a thermal conductivity of 380-401 W/(m · K) (20 ℃), while 6N oxygen free copper, due to its high purity and few lattice defects, has a thermal conductivity close to 410-420 W/(m · K) (measured under specific conditions), which is close to the thermal conductivity of silver. At low temperatures, lattice vibrations (phonon scattering) are greatly suppressed, and heat transfer is mainly completed by free electrons. The defects of high-purity oxygen free copper are extremely rare, and the average free path of electrons significantly increases, resulting in an increase in thermal conductivity. At 4K ultra-low temperature, the thermal conductivity can be increased to over 1100 W/(m · K), and the lower limit of 4K thermal conductivity is 1100 W/(m · K) (simulation verification).

Theoretical limit value: 2600 W/(m · K) (derived from 10K experiment, possibly higher at 4K).

Specification: Diameter 2.6mm

Single diameter 0.05mm

High purity 6N oxygen free copper stranded wire for temperature measurement

The birth of ZS-6N oxygen free copper (purity 99.9999%) marks a significant breakthrough in materials science. The purity of containing only one impurity per million atoms achieves the lattice integrity of industrial materials. Compared to conventional oxygen free copper (purity 99.99%), its grain boundary defects are reduced by two orders of magnitude, and the average free path of electrons can be extended to millimeter level at 4K low temperature, which is equivalent to building an almost ideal 'electronic highway' in the microscopic world.

It is precisely this atomic level regularity that creates its astonishing thermal conductivity: the thermal conductivity of 410-420 W/(m · K) at room temperature has surpassed that of silver, and even soared to over 1100 W/(m · K) in 4K extremely low temperature environments. Experimental data shows that when the temperature gradient is 1K/m, a twisted wire with a diameter of 3.58mm can carry up to 500W of heat flux, equivalent to achieving kilowatt level heat conduction on a cross-section of hair thickness.
