Instructions for using rail thermometer:

Remove rust and dirt from the surface of the measured rail, and place the surface temperature probe on the surface of the rail to measure the surface temperature of the rail. When continuous measurement is required, a magnetic probe can be attached to the waist of the rail. However, do not read the temperature when the train passes, as there will be a large airflow and the surface temperature of the rail will decrease. At this time, there is a significant error in the reading value, and it is necessary to wait for a few minutes before reading the actual surface temperature of the rail from the rail thermometer.
