Oil absorption value, as one of the key indicators for material testing, is defined as the adsorption capacity of a unit mass sample for oil substances. This indicator is widely used in the performance evaluation system of chemical products such as pigments and fillers. The testing process is as follows:
Sample preparation: Place 1.0-200.0 grams of dry graphite negative electrode powder into a constant temperature mixing chamber.
Automatic titration: A high-precision micro metering pump adds test liquids such as DBP, DOP, or flaxseed oil dropwise at a rate of 1-8ml/min.
Dynamic mixing: The dual motor-driven rotating wing performs uniform mixing within a speed range of 50:25-300:150rpm (default speed is 250:125rpm, gear ratio is 2:1) to ensure sufficient contact between the powder and the oil.
Torque monitoring: The built-in high-precision torque sensor captures the viscosity changes of the mixture in real time. The torque display resolution can reach 0.01Nm, and can detect subtle torque changes of 0.001Nm with a measurement accuracy of ± 0.5%.
Automatic endpoint determination: When the torque reaches the preset threshold (usually about 70% of the peak torque), the system automatically stops titration, calculates and outputs the oil absorption value (ml/100g), and generates a torque time variation curve.
Data output: Test data can be output in paper form through the built-in printer, and real-time data transmission to the computer through the RS-232C interface is supported to meet the needs of laboratory information traceability.
