The fingerprint spectrum of the tested material can be obtained through Raman technology, which is widely used in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and medicine. Raman technology can provide information for identifying molecules.

In order to provide customers with high-performance spectrometers, Avantes has launched a new Raman spectrometer, which includes a high-performance spectrometer (3 models), a Raman probe with a built-in 785nm laser, and a feature rich Raman spectroscopy analysis software.

The AvaRaman Bundle Raman system is highly suitable for measuring powders and liquids. If measuring extremely weak signals and sometimes with a fluorescent background, it is recommended to use AvaRaman-D (high sensitivity type), which uses the scientific grade AvaSpec-HERO spectrometer (high quantum efficiency and high signal-to-noise ratio). If measuring weak signals (integration time exceeding 5 seconds), it is recommended to use AvaRaman-E (high-performance type), which uses a thermoelectric cooling (TEC) spectrometer. If measuring strong signals (aromatic compounds, alcohol based liquids), it is recommended to use AvaRaman-F (basic type).

Instrument features:

Excitation component: AvaLaser785 (including 785nm laser protective glasses), which includes an integrated high flux Raman probe. This exquisitely designed probe includes a built-in laser with wavelength stabilization function and a Raman specific filter group, beam shaping optical components, and high-efficiency Raman spectrum collection optical components.


Analysis component: Panorama Light software: Panorama Light is a modular high-end software platform for spectral data analysis, which can be used in work environments that require comprehensive spectral analysis. It has the following functions:

·2D and 3D data visualization

·Database search function

·Archive functionality in the database, including adding additional information


Detection components: including AvaSpec StarLine and SensLine spectrometers from Avantes, customized spectrometers optimized for Raman applications.
