The Intellitapet BC500 batch processing and temperature control system is a unique product that not only provides accurate batch water, but also controls water temperature. Valves and electronic devices are built into a compact unit, greatly reducing system costs and complexity. To complete the system, only an external pulse flowmeter and a spring check valve are needed.
Using Intellitape makes it easy to perform accurate batches. Test results have shown that the ingredient accuracy is within ± 0.1% of the information provided by the flow meter. The accuracy of the flowmeter will affect the accuracy of the entire system. Intellitape achieves this accuracy by automatically reducing the flow rate at the end of the batch. The water temperature is also strictly controlled. Intellitape keeps the water temperature within ± 0.5 ° F.
Intellitape is easy to use. Each key on the keyboard has a function. The buttons have clear labels and are grouped according to common functions. To operate as a high-performance mixing valve, turn on the power, set the temperature, and then press' Start '. The valve opens and the tempering water flows within a few seconds. To run batches, set the number of batches and then press' Start new batch '. To stop the water flow and cancel the batch, please press' Stop '. To repeat the batch, please press' Start new batch 'again.
Batch can be selected in gallons, liters, pounds, or kilograms. The temperature can be selected in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Batch processing can be paused infinitely without losing any accuracy. If the pause/resume batch button is pressed during the batch processing, the valve will close and the water flow will stop. Press the key again to start the water flow and restore the batch.
The precision regulating valve has a sturdy and maintenance free design. Valves and seals have undergone over 3 million cycles Each valve is equipped with Brushless DC stepper motor drive with lubricated ball bearings. Valve components are precision machined to achieve precise tolerances. The water flows continuously without pulsation.
The valve body is made of brass, and the valve seat is made of 303 stainless steel. The valve internals are made of 303 stainless steel with glass filled PTFE valve seat seals, providing a long service life.
The remote control interface allows remote computers, PLCs, or electronic temperature controllers to adjust the Intellitape set point temperature through a 4-20mA control signal. Two instantaneous dry contact closure inputs can be used to start and stop batches.
Each Intellitape comes with an AC power adapter, wall bracket, installation hardware, and user manual.
A complete batch processing system includes Intellitape, flow meter kit, and check valve. Check valves prevent air from entering the flow meter to improve accuracy.

The EPV-250B electronic proportional valve is a low-cost, computer-controlled proportional valve that can directly accept 4-20mA or 1-5V DC control signals. Compared with competitors' valves, EPV has better performance, lower installation costs, and lower operating costs. It is an ideal choice for precise control of liquid and gas flow rates.
EPV has no recoil or lag. This greatly simplifies the control program. The valve is opened and closed by a zero clearance screw mechanism. The stepper motor is directly connected to the valve without the need for gears. This valve can also be manually operated.
The adaptive digital noise filter eliminates valve jitter caused by noise control signals. This digital filter can be disabled through the switch on the circuit board.
This valve is designed with a long-life rotating stem seal. Rotary seals are more durable and require less maintenance than reciprocating stem seals used in pneumatic valves. This seal will not cause unnecessary sticking or sliding of the pneumatic valve.
The compact size of EPV makes it easier to operate and allows it to be installed in smaller spaces. The size of an EPV is approximately one-third that of a pneumatic valve.
