DUR-O-Test hardness tester

This pocket sized measuring instrument can perform hardness measurements on both flat and curved surfaces. The instrument is equipped with an adjustable pressure spring, which is controlled by a sliding rod. The spring acts on a tungsten carbide probe (diameter 1mm), which extends out of the housing. A positioning screw is used to fix the sliding rod to ensure a constant elastic force.

Three different pressure springs can be selected from 0-2N (2000g), covering a wide measurement range.
