1. Turn off the device and reduce the pressure.
2. Unscrew the filter housing and collect the hydraulic oil that flows out into a container (the collected hydraulic oil cannot be poured back into the oil tank)
3. Remove the filter element and check for visible impurities on the surface of the filter element (visible particles can be a warning signal that a component of the equipment is about to fail).
4. Check if the cap and bypass valve are damaged. Damaged parts must be replaced.
5. Check if the O-ring and support ring of the filter cap are damaged. If necessary, replace it.
6. Gently add clean lubricating oil to the O-ring seal of the filter element, and use the nozzle on the edge of the filter cap to push the filter element of the filter.
7. Similarly, gently add clean lubricating oil to the filter housing and screw in the filter cap until it is clogged.
8. Apply pressure to the hydraulic system and check if the filter is leaking oil.
