Test Principle

Taking a certain membrane material as an example, the membrane is fully wetted with a liquid that can be wetted with it. Due to the presence of surface tension, the wetting liquid will be Bound within the pores of the membrane; Apply gradually increasing gas pressure to one side of the membrane. When the gas pressure reaches a pressure greater than the surface tension of the wetting solution in a certain aperture, the wetting solution in that aperture will be pushed out by the gas; Due to the smaller pore size, the higher the pressure generated by surface tension, so the gas pressure required to extract the wetting solution is also higher; Similarly, it can be inferred that the aperture* The wetting solution in the large pores will first be pushed out, allowing the gas to pass through. Then, as the pressure increases, the pore size will decrease, and the wetting solution in the pores will be pushed out in sequence, allowing the gas to pass through until all the pores are opened, achieving the same air permeability as the dry film;
