However, the existence of side clearance can cause backlash during reverse motion, affecting transmission accuracy and stability. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out clearance design on the transmission link to minimize or eliminate the reverse clearance of the transmission chain as much as possible. For worm gear transmission, two-stage worm gear and double lead worm gear have better clearance effect, but their load-bearing capacity and transmission rigidity are relatively poor compared to ordinary single lead worm gear, and their processing difficulty and price are also relatively high.
