Working principle

The material in the hopper is evenly spread on the mesh belt by the feeder. The mesh belt is made of 12-16 mesh stainless steel wire mesh or non stick polytetrafluoroethylene (8 mesh) (determined by the particle size of the material), and is driven by a continuously variable transmission device to move inside the dryer. The drying section consists of several units, with each unit's hot air circulating independently. Some of the exhaust gas is discharged by a dedicated dehumidification fan, and the amount of exhaust gas discharged by each unit is controlled by a regulating valve. In the upper circulation unit, the air from the circulating fan enters the lower chamber of the unit through the side air duct. The airflow passes through the heat exchanger and is distributed by the distributor to form a jet flow that blows towards the mesh belt, passes through the material, and enters the upper chamber. The drying process is the process in which a hot air flow passes through the material layer, completing the transfer of heat and mass. The upper chamber is connected to the fan and the fan inlet through the fan duct, and most of the gas circulates. A portion of the gas with lower temperature and higher humidity is discharged through the dehumidification pipe, regulating valve, and dehumidification fan. In the lower circulation unit, the air from the circulating fan first enters the upper chamber, is heated by the heat exchanger, passes through the cow material layer, and enters the lower chamber. The lower chamber is connected to the fan inlet through a side air duct and a return air duct, with most of the gas circulating and some being discharged. The upper and lower circulation units can be flexibly equipped according to user needs, and the number of units can also be selected for use with dehydrated vegetables. Generally, three units are used in series to form the initial drying section, the final drying section, and the middle section. In the initial drying stage, due to the high moisture content and breathability of the material, a small paving thickness, faster operating speed, and higher drying temperature are used. For materials that are allowed to exceed 60 ℃, the temperature of the drying gas in the initial drying stage can be as high as 120C or above. The residence time of the material in the final drying stage is 36 times that of the initial drying stage, and the paving thickness is 24 times that of the initial drying stage; For the requirement of material temperature not exceeding C, dry gas at around 80 ℃ can be used. Using a multi-stage combination can better utilize the performance of the belt dryer and achieve more uniform drying
