working principle

The core working principle of MV 53 C is the balance between pressure and spring force. Under normal circumstances, the valve core is pressed against the valve seat by the spring force, and the oil circuit is closed. When the system pressure rises and exceeds the pressure value set by the spring, the hydraulic pressure will overcome the spring force, push open the valve core, and allow hydraulic oil to flow from the inlet port (P) to the return port (R), thereby achieving overflow and limiting the system pressure within the set value. When the pressure drops below the set value, the valve core closes again under the action of spring force.

Please note that MV 53 C belongs to the MV series relief valve, and HAWE also has the MVS series, which has slightly different model names and specific applications, such as MVS 53 C.

Installation and usage precautions

Pressure regulation: When adjusting the pressure, the locking nut must be loosened first, and then tightened after the adjustment is completed. Do not forcefully rotate the adjusting screw before loosening the nut to avoid damaging the valve body.
Medium cleanliness: Although HAWE valves are not sensitive to oil contamination, in order to ensure optimal service life, it is recommended to maintain the cleanliness of hydraulic oil, with a viscosity range of 10-200 mm ²/s.
Installation direction: There are no strict requirements for the installation position of this valve (installation at any position), but it is necessary to ensure that the return port (R) has no back pressure and the pipeline connection is correct.
