Guwei Electronics has launched a new generation of DC micro ohmmeter - GOM804/805, which uses a 3.5-inch TFT display screen, a maximum measurement display of 50000 counts, a fast sampling rate of 60 strokes per second, a measurement accuracy of 0.05%, a four wire measurement method, temperature and temperature compensation measurement functions, and 20 sets of panel setting memory groups; At the same time, GOM-805 is equipped with diverse driving modes and dry circuits to meet the application and requirements of components or materials in low voltage or low power resistance measurement. The entire series is equipped with interfaces that can be controlled externally through instruments such as RS-232C, USB, Handler/Scan/EXT IO, or GPIB (optional), further enhancing the convenience of this ohmmeter in practical applications.
GOM-804/805 adopts a 3.5-inch color LCD display screen, which not only makes the measurement results clearer and easier to read, but also increases the display of relevant setting conditions, greatly improving the completeness of testing information. GOM-804/805 can still provide 0.05% accuracy while increasing the measurement speed to a sampling speed of 60 transactions per second, and the display bit count will not be reduced from 5 to 4 due to speed selection. In addition, the use of independent function keys and directional keys also improves the convenience of operation, allowing users to complete all measurement tasks more intuitively and conveniently.
In addition, GOM-805 provides dry circuits and various driving modes (DC+/DC -, pulse, pulse width modulation) for measurement applications of different types of materials. When conductors of different materials come into contact with each other, the potential difference caused by different temperature changes can be reduced by using a pulse current output mode to reduce the influence of thermoelectric potential in low resistance measurements. The DC+/DC current output mode is suitable for measuring inductive components. The pulse width modulation output mode is suitable for materials sensitive to temperature changes, which can avoid resistance changes caused by long-term measurement of current loading. When using DC+, DC -, and pulse driving modes, a dry circuit can be used simultaneously for measurement; Dry circuits can limit the open circuit voltage to a maximum of 20mV to avoid excessive voltage at both ends of the component, which can damage the oxide layer or thin film on the contact point surface and thus compromise the effectiveness of measurement. For example, contact resistance measurement in connectors is a typical application.
In terms of connecting external controls, GOM-804/805 provides a D-sub 25 pin composite interface that can perform specific tasks such as Handler, Scan, or EXT IO based on functional selection. It provides connections to sorting machines, external switches, or direct external trigger control; Finally, for remote control and measurement results retrieval, GOM-804/805 also offers a variety of interface options, such as RS-232C, USB, and GPIB (GOM-804 optional/GOM-805 standard) interfaces; At the same time, the control commands are compatible with the original GOM-802, allowing users to avoid spending too much time on program adjustments when replacing old and new models.
In summary, GOM-804 is an evolved model that further enhances the functionality and specifications of the original GOM-802, including display bit count, measurement speed, and providing standard interfaces (RS-232C/USB); GOM-805, on the other hand, has added new measurement capabilities (dry circuit and various driving modes) to meet a wider range of low resistance measurement applications.
