Once the rotor of a generator is damaged by overvoltage, it will cause a short circuit between the rotor turns or insulation damage and breakdown of the winding to ground. In severe cases, it will threaten the safety of the generator stator and transformer. In order to prevent the occurrence of rotor overvoltage in the above-mentioned generators, many generators in China are now equipped with imported original or assembled excitation devices and accompanying generator rotor demagnetization jumper devices, which have an increasing proportion. Its security has received increasing attention.

Regular performance tests of rotor overvoltage devices should be conducted on all operating generators.
In order to facilitate and effectively test the generator rotor demagnetization jumper device, our company has developed a generator rotor demagnetization jumper device testing instrument using our own new technology. As a specialized instrument for this test, it provides a convenient, scientific, safe, and reliable testing instrument for the generator rotor overvoltage protection device during debugging and testing.
