Product Introduction The ultraviolet converter utilizes fluorescence phenomenon to convertThe spectral range of BEAMAGE extends to the ultraviolet band. The fluorescent crystal is located at the entrance of the converter, absorbing ultraviolet wavelengths and re emitting visible spectral wavelengths with lower energy. The rest of the device is mainly composed of optical components, and the iris aperture at the end controls the exposure of the sensor. The light emitted by fluorescent crystals is incoherent and non collimated. The multiple sets of lenses inside the converter can affect the beam size when compensating for this characteristic, so it is important to note that the ultraviolet converter has amplification properties. Similar to infrared adapters, ultraviolet converters are essentially extension tubes that can be directly fixed to the camera lens aperture. The BSF series can convert X-rays to light in the 400 nm wavelength range into visible and near-infrared wavelengths. The amplification feature allows you to image beams larger than the sensor. The output port has a built-in aperture that can control the exposure of the CMOS sensor. Detachable extension tube, easily secured to the BEAMAGE camera inlet port.
