Product Introduction

Fully automatic burette: also known as automatic zeroing burette. Use air pressure to pressurize the titration fluid in the storage bottle into the burette. When it reaches the zero mark, excess liquid automatically flows back into the storage bottle through the guide port.

Product usage steps

1. Clean the burette;

2. Remove the piston, dry the piston and the inner wall of the plug sleeve, and apply a thin layer of Vaseline evenly to both ends of the piston. Do not apply it on either side of the piston hole to avoid blocking the piston hole. Put the piston back into the sleeve, rotate the piston several times in the same direction to make the Vaseline evenly distributed and transparent, and rotate the piston to the reflux state.

3. Fill the storage bottle with titrant, ensuring that the bottom of the burette is immersed in the titrant, and insert the upper part of the instrument into the storage bottle as a whole.

4. Connect the pagoda head to the double connected ball and press it continuously (about 10-12 times). Stop pumping when the liquid in the side tube reaches the buffer tube.

5. When the liquid level in the graduated burette and the side tube is basically level, press the double ball 1-3 times again (with an interval of 2-3 seconds between each time, pay attention to observing that the liquid in the buffer tube does not overflow), until the liquid in the graduated burette flows out of the guide port, and adjust the piston to the closed state.

If the liquid level in the buffer tube exceeds the top small opening of the diversion port at this time, press the automatic piston 1-2 times to lower the liquid level below the horizontal line of the small opening. Zeroing completed, adjust the piston to the titration state, and start titration.

7. It is necessary to titrate again and reset to zero: adjust the piston to the reflux state, wait for the liquid level of the two tubes to be basically level, and determine the number of times to press the double ball according to the required amount of liquid. Repeat steps 5-6.

8. After titration is completed, first press the automatic piston to release the gas pressure inside the bottle (the piston does not need to be pressed to the bottom, press it halfway, and at this time, you can feel the airflow below pushing up against the piston, maintaining it for 2-3 seconds); Then adjust the piston to reflux, and the titrant flows back to the storage bottle through the AB branch pipe. Disassemble the instrument and clean it.
