FOAMSCAN ™ The bubbling foam analysis system is specially used to characterize the generation ability and stability of foam. The instrument generates foam by injecting gas (such as air, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) into the liquid.
The system software accurately controls the gas flow rate, and uses the CCD camera to take real-time foam images to accurately calculate the foam volume. At the same time, the built-in electrode can synchronously monitor the liquid content and volume, and with the help of CSA dedicated software, achieve comprehensive analysis of bubble size and distribution.

1、 Working principle
After the experiment started, the foam rose in the cylindrical glass measuring tube. The CCD camera system tracks the foam shape in real time, and accurately measures the actual foam volume and liquid volume and other parameters; Electrode synchronous detection of liquid fraction and liquid volume. All results can be saved in image or video format, and CSA software further analyzes the size and distribution of bubbles.
The measuring tube can be equipped with different functions according to research needs:
-Equip electrodes to monitor the liquid content of water-based foam in real time;
-Double layered glass wall structure, supporting temperature control up to 90 ℃ during the experimental process (optional circulation bath device);
-Equipped with four prisms, compatible with Bubble Size Analysis (CSA) module.

The image analysis software calculates the foam volume accurately in real time, and the liquid content and volume are measured synchronously by the electrode. The key parameters such as gas flow rate and temperature are uniformly controlled by software throughout the experiment. The bubble size analysis module continuously tracks the changes in bubble diameter and its distribution over time.
FOAMSCAN ™ Equipped with a protective shell, it effectively isolates environmental light interference and prevents dust from entering. The two foaming methods of bubbling and stirring can be integrated into the same instrument, expanding the application range.
