◆ Structural principle
The UHZ series consists of sensors and display transmitters.
The sensor is installed on the tank, and a measuring steel strip extends from the bottom of the sensor. A float is suspended at the end of the steel strip. When the float changes within the full range, the tension of the steel strip on the float remains basically unchanged (the tension becomes less than 0.5 Newton). The self weight of the float is greater than the tension of the steel strip, and the float is partially immersed in the liquid. Due to the constant tension, the depth of immersion of the float into the liquid remains unchanged. Therefore, it can be assumed that the float moves strictly synchronously with the liquid level. After deducting a fixed initial value, the position of the float represents the liquid level.

◆Installation and usage precautions
The user needs to open a hole at a suitable position on the top of the tank and weld a flange for installation. The flange size is shown in the figure, and the flatness error of the flange should not exceed 3. The opening position should be the position where the liquid flow in the tank is weakest, and there should be no obstacles within a diameter range of ¢ 500 directly below the opening position that hinder the float from moving up and down.
The user needs to make a reducing flange for connecting instrument sensors and installing the flange. The small end of the reducing flange is connected to the flange of the sensor, and the large end of the reducing flange is connected to the installation flange. The size of the reducing flange is shown in the figure
