FloEFD thermal simulation software


FloEFD is a highly engineered universal fluid heat transfer analysis software seamlessly integrated into mainstream 3D CAD software. It is developed based on the Finite Volume Method (FVM) widely used in mainstream CFD software today. FloEFD fully supports direct import of all mainstream 3D CAD models such as Pro/E, Catia, Solidworks, Siemens NX, Inventor, and can import model files in formats such as Parasolid, IGES, STEP, ASIC, VDAFS, WRML, STL, IDF, DXF, DWG, etc. The analysis steps of FloEFD, including CAD model establishment, automatic mesh generation, boundary condition application, solution, and post-processing, are all completed entirely within the CAD software interface, making the entire process fast and efficient. FloEFD directly applies CAD solid models to automatically determine fluid regions and perform mesh partitioning without the need for further modeling of fluid regions. When conducting CAD structural optimization analysis, a FloEFD analysis definition is first performed on a CAD model. CAD models of similar structures (assemblies) only need to apply unique Project Clone technology to immediately perform FloEFD calculations under different assemblies, thereby quickly optimizing the design scheme.
