The 3151LT flange type liquid level transmitter is a newly launched small intelligent transmitter that introduces advanced digital circuits and communication technology. It is suitable for measuring flow, liquid level, and pressure (differential pressure, gauge pressure, and absolute pressure). Compared with traditional transmitters, the 3151 smart transmitter reduces weight by one-third, improves overall performance, and offers precision levels of 0.075, 0.1, and 0.2 for users to choose from. It is an ideal measuring instrument for fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power plants, light industry, and municipal engineering. The 3151 series intelligent transmitter adopts the HART communication protocol and supports technology upgrades to fieldbus.
The measured pressure is converted into a capacitive variable by a capacitive sensitive element, and then directly converted into a digital signal through a C/D circuit before being sent to a microprocessor. The digital signal corrected by operation is then converted into a 4-20mADC output signal through D/A conversion and sent to display/regulating instruments or DCS devices. The communication line converts the measured pressure digital signal from the microprocessor into a frequency signal and superimposes it on a 4-20mADC analog signal, which is received by the corresponding HART terminal device.
