Press the button corresponding to the "calibration" position on the screen. Please note that an uncoated substrate must be used, and the shape and material of the substrate must be consistent with the measured workpiece.

(1) Normalization (instrument zeroing): Press the OK button to enter and follow the on-screen prompts to measure the substrate (base material) 3-5 times. Press the OK button to confirm that the screen displays "Normal completion successful", and then press the OK button again to complete.

(2) Calibrate the substrate (base material) 3-5 times according to the on-screen prompts. It is not recommended to skip by pressing the "skip" button on the screen. Press the OK button to confirm and place the standard film on the front substrate. Measure the standard film 3-5 times and press the "set" button to enter the setting interface. Press the ↑↓ keys to adjust the value until it is the same as the standard film. Press the "OK" button to confirm that the above steps are correct, and then press the "OK" button until the calibration steps for the second standard film are the same as the first film. Press "OK" to confirm.

(The instrument only comes with one standard piece, and the second piece can be skipped directly. If the customer has multiple standard pieces, please calibrate them in order from thin to thick.)

(3) Simple calibration: Measure standard pieces above 200um on the substrate 3-5 times and set the corresponding values. Press the "OK" button to complete. (This function is only suitable for coatings with a thickness of 200um or more)
