Overview

A fine mouthed glass reagent bottle is specifically designed for the containment and storage of liquid reagents, with a ground mouth. What chemical reagents meet the conditions to be packaged or stored in ground mouth reagent bottles
Firstly, volatile and unstable reagents (such as easily oxidized reagents) should not be stored, as the cap of the ground mouth bottle is covered and not tightly sealed.
Secondly, alkaline reagents cannot be used because alkali reacts with glass to produce sodium silicate, which can cause the bottle mouth to stick.
Thirdly, the reagents that need to be kept away from light should be stored in brown reagent bottles.
Fourthly, solid reagents are stored in wide mouthed bottles, while liquid reagents are stored in narrow mouthed bottles.

This grinding reagent bottle is made of sodium calcium glass, which is an amorphous and non crystalline solid material obtained by melting, forming, and rapidly cooling at high temperatures of 1550-1600 ℃. Its chemical composition is very complex, mainly consisting of SiO2 (about 72% content), Na2O (about 15% content), and CaO (about 9% content), as well as small amounts of Al2O3, MgO, K2O, etc.
