Avantes' fiber optic switch (FOS) is an ideal accessory for correcting light source drift. This FOS is electronically operated through TTL signals from external sources or one of our AvaSpec spectrometers. TTL signals can be provided by external devices or by AvaSpec spectrometers connected through interface cables (IC DB xxx, please refer to the ordering information below). FOS is coupled on the optical path between SMA terminated fibers and has four COL-UV/VIS collimating lenses (UV/VIS/NIR). Two optical paths can be independently controlled through two TTL signals. The internal industrial grade louver motor supports a large number of instrument usage. Through its 5 million cycles, it supports 24/7 operation in most cases. PS-12V/2.08A power supply and interface cable (ordered separately) are required.
