2. Shake on a shaker. Do not touch the dye solution with bare hands as it is acidic. The bands begin to appear 1-2 minutes later. The staining bands will deepen over time. The usual staining time can range from 30 minutes to overnight. The background color does not increase significantly with dyeing time. The dye solution can be reused three times. As the number of uses increases, the staining speed slightly decreases, but it does not affect sensitivity.
3. After dyeing, place the protein gel in water for storage and take out for photos. Due to the different isoelectric points of proteins, the instantaneous adhesion ability of dyes is different. It is recommended to dye for 2h or overnight, and then put the gel into water for better results. In addition, the gel can be stored in water to purify the background.

After dyeing, the background of the glue is heavy and will turn blue. What should I do? Can it be washed with decolorization solution?
Answer: The background turns blue, which is a normal phenomenon. Simply place the glue in clean water and purify the background. If using a decolorizing solution for washing, the protein dye will also be washed off. Our dye solution does not require decolorization. Just place it in clean water to purify the background. If you have high requirements for the background, you can change the water purification twice more.
What should I do if the weak band staining is shallow?
Answer: This fast dye solution usually takes 2 minutes to develop color, but if it is a weak band and the dyeing time is not enough, the color will be very light, and fading may occur when water is added too early. To dye weak bands, it is generally recommended to dye overnight, change the water the next day, and purify the background.
Is there a relationship between dyeing effect and adhesive thickness?
Answer: Generally speaking, the thinner the glue, the faster and better the dyeing process. If your glue is thick, it is recommended to extend the dyeing time. If the thickness of the glue exceeds 1mm, please add more dye solution and extend the dyeing time.
Is it normal for trace precipitation to appear in the dye solution? How should we respond?
Answer: The occurrence of trace precipitation is normal and does not affect the effectiveness of use. During production, in order to enhance the specificity of the dye solution, only the protein is dyed and not the gel. One component is intentionally saturated, but the saturated solution will slightly change with temperature, resulting in a change in solubility and possible trace precipitation. However, as the temperature rises, it will dissolve without affecting its use.
How many times can the dye be reused?
Answer: In principle, the dye solution can be reused repeatedly. However, if it is used more than 3 times, the amount of SDS remaining in the dye solution may increase, resulting in silver flocculent or trace precipitation. In this case, filtering once is sufficient and does not affect its use. However, for the best experimental results, we recommend using it three times repeatedly. It is recommended to extend the staining time during the second and third staining sessions.
6. How long can the staining time be?
Answer: It is recommended to dye for 24 hours. If it exceeds 24 hours, the background may turn blue. If the background is already too blue, you can shake the glue in clean water overnight to lighten the background.

Answer: It is not recommended to store it four times. After using the dye solution once, some of the SDS in the gel will remain in the dye solution. It should be stored at room temperature. Do not store at low temperatures or 4 degrees Celsius.
