Overview

The F025 mass flowmeter, as a practical application of the Coriolis effect, works by causing vibration in the flow tube through which the medium flows. Although the vibration is not a complete circle, it still forms a rotating coordinate system, causing the Coriolis effect. Sensors detect and analyze changes in flow tube frequency, phase difference, and amplitude. The specific detection method may vary depending on the design of the flow meter. These observed changes represent the mass flow rate and density of the fluid.

Density measurement

The measuring tube vibrates at its natural frequency. The change in the quality of the medium inside the pipeline will cause a corresponding change in the natural frequency of the pipeline. Calculate density based on the frequency variation of the pipeline.

temperature measurement

Temperature, as a measurement variable, can be used as an output quantity. In addition, temperature can also be used to compensate for the effect of temperature changes on the Young's modulus of elasticity inside the sensor.

Instrument characteristics

The measurement accuracy of medium mass flow rate is independent of operating temperature, pressure, or composition. However, the pressure drop of the sensor depends on the operating temperature, pressure, and composition of the medium.
