Explosion proof electronic balanceThe selection of an electronic balance should not only be based on its accuracy, but also on whether the weighing meets the requirements of the measuring range. Usually, adding a small safety factor to the load is sufficient, which means that the commonly used load can be further relaxed, not the larger the better.
Regarding the calibration of electronic scales (be sure to carefully read the instructions before use), we have found that there are significant errors in measuring and testing the scales during calibration (testing). The reason for this is that a considerable number of instruments have not been calibrated for a long period of time and believe that the zero position displayed on the sky level can be directly weighed. (It should be pointed out that when the electronic balance is turned on and displays zero, it does not indicate that the accuracy of the data weighed by the balance meets the testing standards, but only that the stability of the zero position of the balance is qualified. Because to measure whether a balance is qualified or not, other technical indicators need to be comprehensively considered for compliance).

Shanghai Explosion proof Electronic BalanceDue to prolonged storage time, relocation, environmental changes, or to obtain accurate measurements, the balance should generally be calibrated before use. There are two types of calibration methods: internal calibration and external calibration. The Sedolis series produced in Germany, the JA series produced in Switzerland, and the JA series produced in Shanghai all have calibration devices. If the instruction manual is not carefully read before use, it is easy to overlook the "calibration" operation, resulting in significant weighing errors. Taking the JA1203 electronic balance from Shanghai Tianping Instrument Factory as an example, we will explain how to perform external calibration on the balance. Method: Press the CAL button lightly when CAL - appears on the monitor, release it, and the monitor will display CAL-100. "100" is a flashing code, indicating that a 100g standard weight is required for calibration. At this point, place the prepared "100g" calibration weight on the weighing plate, and the display will show a waiting state. After a long time, the display will show 100.000g. Take the calibration weight and the display should show 0.000g. If it is not zero, reset it to zero and repeat the above calibration operation. (Note: Repeat the above calibration to obtain accurate calibration results)
