The time required for the product to drop from the hot pressing temperature to 40-50 ℃ is the cooling stage. When starting to pour cold water, it should be done slowly to prevent rapid cooling. When cooling, the pressure during hot pressing should be maintained. The cooling time is related to the thickness, type, and room temperature of the pressed board. The cooling time of the laminated board is longer than that of the laminated board, generally requiring 40-70 minutes (i.e. 1-1.5 minutes per millimeter thickness). When the laminated board is cooled to 40-50 ℃, it can be unloaded and cooled on the press. The purpose of cooling the laminated board is to cool it under pressure and fix its shape. If it is not cooled under pressure, the inherent internal stress and uneven shrinkage may cause the laminated board to warp and bubble. If the press uses electric heating, it is difficult to cool it to 50C. Generally, it is only cooled to 80-90 ℃ before unloading, which can easily cause the product to warp

For epoxy phenolic glass cloth boards, if the cooling temperature is too low, it will make demolding difficult and even cause steel plate sticking. Therefore, a higher temperature of about 50-70 ℃ is required for unloading. This way, when wiping the external demoulding agent, the solvent is easy to evaporate, which can avoid the phenomenon of steel plate sticking due to solvent not drying and increase the demoulding effect.
