Emulsification resistance tester

OilLab 8740 Automatic Herschel Emulsification Tester meets the standards of ASTM D1401, DIN51599, ISO6614, and can measure the water separation characteristics of petroleum (synthetic liquids, Herschel emulsifiers).

Industrial lubricating oil often inevitably needs to be mixed with some cooling water during use. If the anti emulsification property of the lubricating oil is poor, it will form an emulsion with the mixed water, making it difficult for water to be released from the bottom of the circulating oil tank, which may cause poor lubrication.

The anti emulsification property of lubricating oil is closely related to its cleanliness. If there are many mechanical impurities in the lubricating oil, or if it contains soap, acid, and generated sludge, in the presence of water, the lubricating oil is easily emulsified and forms an emulsion. Oil products with poor emulsification resistance also have poor oxidation stability.

1. Silicon boron glass tank, 250mm deep, fixed on a stainless steel platform with ceramic coating.

2. The OilLab 8740 automatic Herschel emulsion resistance tester has a compact structure and is coated with an acid resistant epoxy coating.

3. Stainless steel bath with insulation layer, capacity of approximately 14L, and equipped with a wide double-layer window with a luminous LED barrier.

4. A positioning device can place the column under the blade of the sample mixer, which can avoid breakage in case of positioning errors.

5. The stirring blade is controlled by electronic lifting, eliminating the need for manual insertion into the sample tube, allowing for simultaneous testing of up to 6 testing positions.

6. 2-4-6 independent sample positions, each equipped with a separate mixing motor and control system, capable of testing up to 6 samples simultaneously.

7. Independent speed display, capable of displaying the mixing speed of up to 6 test positions simultaneously.

8. The electronic timer can automatically turn off stirring after 5 minutes of stirring.

9. Up to 6 independent timers, with separate timing for different test positions.

10. The device has an independent over temperature protection system, which automatically shuts down in case of unexpected high temperatures to achieve protection.

11. Low liquid level protection function, stopping heating when the bath liquid level is too low to prevent dry burning.

12. Sound and light alarm reminder at the end of the test.

13. Two USB ports for users to export data or connect to a printer.

14. Provide CCD imaging sensors that can automatically detect changes in sample volume.
