1. The power cabinet and control cabinet of the electric heating boiler shall comply with the provisions of GB/T14048.1, GB/T5226.1, GB7251.1, GB/T3797, and GB50054. The power cabinet should be equipped with obvious and effective breaking devices, and the control cabinet should be equipped with an emergency stop button. The selected electrical appliances should meet the requirements of dynamic stability and thermal stability under short-circuit conditions, and the electrical appliances used to disconnect short-circuit currents should meet the on/off capability under short-circuit conditions.
2. Boilers should be equipped with indicator instruments for safe operating parameters such as pressure, water level, and temperature according to regulations.
3. Electric heating boilers should be equipped with voltmeters, ammeters, and preferably active energy meters or multi rate active energy meters.
4. Steam boilers should be equipped with automatic feedwater control devices.
5. The boiler should be equipped with automatic control devices for grouping the electric heating elements into operation and grouping them out of operation.
6. The boiler should be equipped with an automatic load adjustment device. When the steam pressure of the steam boiler exceeds or falls below the set value, and the outlet temperature of the hot water boiler exceeds or falls below the set value, the control device should be able to automatically reduce or increase the boiler input power.
7. Boilers with steam (air) moisture interfaces inside the pot should be equipped with water shortage protection devices. When the boiler water level is lower than the water shortage protection water level (or the extreme low water level), the power supply of the electric heating element is cut off, an alarm signal is issued, and the operation can only be restarted after manual reset.
8. Pressure boilers should be equipped with overpressure protection devices. When the boiler pressure exceeds the limit, the power supply of the electric heating element is cut off, an alarm signal is issued, and the operation can only be restarted after manual reset.
9. The metal shells or potentially live metal parts of boilers, their power cabinets, and control cabinets should have reliable electrical connections with the grounding terminal, and the connection resistance between them and the grounding terminal should not exceed 0.1 Ω. The grounding terminal should have sufficient size to withstand the maximum possible grounding current. The boiler, its power cabinet, and control cabinet should be clearly marked with a grounding symbol on their main grounding terminal.
10. Electric heating boilers should have sufficient electrical withstand voltage strength and be able to withstand a 1-minute withstand voltage test with a cold voltage of 2000V and a hot voltage of 1000V, 50Hz, without breakdown or flashover.
11. Electric boilers should be equipped with overcurrent protection, short circuit protection, leakage protection, overvoltage protection, and phase loss protection.
12. The surrounding environment of the electric boiler should not contain flammable, explosive, corrosive gases and conductive dust, nor should there be obvious impact and vibration.
13. Boiler operators who operate independently should hold the corresponding level of boiler operator certificate and receive training on relevant electrical knowledge and operating requirements.
