Brief description: The Yilixin 295 type grid cutter is a manually operated instrument that can meet all grid testing standards. It consists of a plastic handle and a blade mounted on it, which can be adjusted to a comfortable position for the operator to operate. Different types of cutting heads are available, and one tape that complies with EN ISO 2409 standard is available for selection.
The adhesion of the coating on the substrate is not only a physical indicator that describes the bonding performance between the coating and the substrate, but also an important anti-corrosion performance indicator. Because areas with poor adhesion are prone to corrosion, standard grid testing provides a very straightforward method for testing adhesion performance.
The basic principle is to use a series of cutting edges to cut the coating at right angles, and the obtained squares can be evaluated by visually inspecting the coating at the site of substrate rupture. It can also be compared with the grid pattern in the standard.
All 295 # grid cutting instruments are fully supplied, including blade heads installed on plastic handles. Installed in a sturdy plastic carrying case, it also includes a nylon brush and a 2.5-fold magnifying glass. For 295/III single blade blades, a folding ruler is also provided. The instrument also comes with the manufacturer's certificate M.
