Drum type tea withering and drying machine
Green tea accounts for the majority of tea production in China, and the important step in its production process is withering. The quality of withering directly affects the quality of tea.
Microwave tea withering and drying machine is a new technology that uses microwave energy to withering and drying tea leaves. Its principle is that the tea leaves are heated as a whole under the action of microwave electromagnetic field, and the temperature of the tea leaves quickly rises to above 80 ℃, achieving the purpose of withering.
The traditional way of withering tea leaves is to heat the metal cylinder to above 120 ℃, and the tea leaves are withered through the rotating cylinder. This method is not easy to control the temperature. If the temperature is too high, the tea leaves will produce burst spots and burnt leaves. If the temperature is too low, it cannot completely destroy the activity of enzymes, resulting in red stems and leaves. In addition, due to the irregular shape of the tea leaves, the parts that do not come into contact with the metal cylinder of the tea leaves are not warm enough, and red spots still appear on the withered leaves. The poor withering process reduces the grade of the tea leaves several times.
Characteristics
1. Fast speed and good quality: Tea leaves are directly affected by microwave energy and generate heat on their own, usually taking about 3-5 minutes to complete. The tea leaves made by microwave withering have a clear and mellow aroma, ensuring the natural extension of buds and leaves, a greener color, a pleasant aroma, and a significant improvement in tea quality.
2. Uniform temperature and good steam permeability: During the withering process, the cylinder continuously rotates, causing the tea leaves to be constantly flipped and lifted while being heated by microwave. The heating is uniform and the steam permeability is good, avoiding the disadvantages of overlapping leaves and inability to immediately discharge the evaporated water from the tea leaves during withering with conveyor belt microwave equipment, resulting in poor steam permeability and uneven withering.
3. High degree of automation and simple operation: The equipment is equipped with image monitoring and time control. Just set the shooting time, and the equipment will automatically stop working after the shooting is completed.

The equipment consists of a heater, microwave generator, drum and transmission device, frame, electric control cabinet, exhaust system, television monitoring, and auxiliary heater.
