To meet the pressure requirements of applications, Dow Corning Pharmaceutical grade silicone tubing offers the following three hardness levels for conventional hoses:
• 50Shore A: Medium hardness
• 65Shore A: medium to high hardness
• 80Shore A: high hardness
Dow Corning Pharmane-65 and Pharmane-80 hoses with higher hardness can provide higher compression and torsion resistance to meet more stringent application requirements

Pharma-50 silicone tubing is commonly used as a pharmaceutical grade peristaltic pump tube for transporting sensitive liquids such as protein solutions and injection water.
The temperature resistance range is -51~+135 ℃.
It can be sterilized by steam, radiation, and gas.
