SkinColor Catch Instrument and Measurement Principle

White LEDs corresponding to sunlight are arranged in a circular pattern in SkinColor Catch's measurement room. When SkinColor Catch is gently placed on the skin, the LED illuminates the skin at a 45 degree angle to minimize shine. The light reflected back from the skin is detected using an RGB color sensor.

The measurement is not affected by environmental lighting conditions, and the optical aperture of SkinColor Catch can greatly reduce the bleaching effect caused by skin contact pressure.
