ATOS plunger pump is a new type of high-efficiency pump with relatively high technological content. With the continuous acceleration of localization, radial plunger pump will inevitably become an important component of plunger pump application field; For specific details, please refer to the radial piston pump encyclopedia. The following explanation will only take the axial piston pump as an example.
Axial piston pump operates by utilizing the volume change generated by the reciprocating motion of a plunger parallel to the transmission shaft in the plunger hole. Due to the fact that both the plunger and plunger hole are circular parts, high precision fitting can be achieved during processing, resulting in high volumetric efficiency, smooth operation, good flow uniformity, low noise, and high working pressure. However, they are sensitive to hydraulic oil pollution, have complex structures, and are expensive.
The pump oil mechanism of ATOS plunger pump includes two sets of precision fittings: plunger+plunger sleeve to form plunger and barrel assembly (Figure 5-11), delivery valve and delivery valve seat to form delivery valve assembly
The plunger and plunger sleeve of the ATOS plunger pump are a pair of precision parts that cannot be interchanged after pairing and grinding. They require high precision, smoothness, and good wear resistance, with a radial clearance of 0.002-0.003mm
The plunger head of the ATOS plunger pump has a slanted groove on the cylindrical surface, which is connected to the top through radial and axial holes, with the purpose of changing the circulating oil supply; The plunger sleeve is equipped with inlet and return oil holes, both of which are connected to the low-pressure oil chamber in the pump upper body. After the plunger sleeve is inserted into the pump upper body, it should be positioned with positioning screws.
The position of the inclined groove at the plunger head of the ATOS plunger pump is different, and the method of changing the fuel supply is also different.
The oil outlet valve and the oil outlet valve seat are also a pair of precision fittings, which cannot be interchanged after pairing and grinding, with a fitting clearance of 0.01mm.
The oil outlet valve is a one-way valve. Under the action of spring pressure, the conical surface of the upper part of the valve fits tightly with the valve seat. Its function is to isolate the high-pressure oil pipe from the upper cavity of the plunger when the supply is stopped, preventing the oil in the high-pressure oil pipe from flowing back into the fuel injection pump.
The output pressure of ATOS plunger pump is determined by the load and is approximately proportional to the input torque. There are two types of faults for abnormal output pressure.
(1) Output pressure too low
When the pump is in a self-priming state, if there is air leakage in the inlet pipeline or significant leakage in the hydraulic cylinder, one-way valve, directional valve, etc. in the system, the pressure will not rise. This requires identifying the leak, tightening and replacing the seal to increase the pressure. The overflow valve has a malfunction or the pressure adjustment is low, and the system pressure cannot be increased. The pressure should be readjusted or the overflow valve should be repaired. If there is a deviation between the cylinder body and the distribution plate of the hydraulic pump, causing a large amount of leakage, and in severe cases, the cylinder body may break, then the mating surface should be re ground or the hydraulic pump should be replaced.
(2) Output pressure too high
If the circuit load continues to rise and the pump pressure also continues to rise, it is considered normal. If the load is constant and the pressure of the pump exceeds the required pressure value for the load, hydraulic components other than the pump, such as directional valves, pressure valves, transmission devices, and return oil pipelines, should be checked. If the maximum pressure is too high, the relief valve should be adjusted.
Vibration and Noise
Vibration and noise occur simultaneously. They not only pose a threat to machine operators, but also pollute the environment.
(1) Mechanical vibration and noise
If the pump shaft and motor shaft are not concentric or stuck, the bearings and couplings of the rotating shaft are damaged, the elastic pad is damaged, and the assembly bolts are loose, noise will be generated. For pumps that operate at high speeds or transmit large amounts of energy, regular inspections should be conducted to record the amplitude, frequency, and noise of each component. When the rotational frequency of the pump is the same as the natural frequency of the pressure valve, resonance will occur, and the pump speed can be changed to eliminate resonance.
(2) Noise generated by liquid flow in pipelines
Noise can be generated by a narrow oil inlet pipeline, insufficient or blocked flow capacity of the oil inlet filter, air intake into the oil inlet pipe, high oil leakage, low oil level, insufficient oil absorption, and liquid hammer in high-pressure pipelines. Therefore, it is necessary to design the fuel tank correctly and select the oil filter, oil pipe, and directional valve correctly.
Working principle of ATOS piston pump in Italy
The ATOS Atos piston pump from Italy is an important device in hydraulic systems. It relies on the reciprocating motion of the plunger in the cylinder body to change the volume of the sealed working chamber to achieve oil suction and pressure. The oil in the working chamber composed of the plunger and cylinder bore is connected to the suction and discharge chambers of the pump through the oil distribution plate. The variable mechanism is used to change the inclination angle of the inclined plate, and the displacement of the pump can be changed by adjusting the inclination angle of the inclined plate.
