KOBOLD DUK seriesCompact ultrasonic flow meters are used for measuring, monitoring, and batching low viscosity (water-based) liquids. This compact metal ultrasonic flowmeter without moving parts works based on the principle of operating time difference. Ultrasonic waves in the medium are affected by flow velocity. Its feature is that two sensors are installed relative to each other in the pipeline, serving as both a transmitter and receiver for ultrasonic signals. If there is currently no traffic, the running time of the two signals is the same. If the medium is flowing, the running time of the upstream signal will be longer than that of the downstream signal. This difference in running time is determined by DUK's microprocessor and is proportional to the flow rate
