The DTAD666 three-phase four wire digital multifunctional electric energy meter (hereinafter referred to as the electric energy meter) is mainly used for the collection, processing, storage, and event reporting of electric energy data in intelligent substations constructed according to the IEC61850 standard. It is a supporting terminal product of the power load management system, and can be used in conjunction with the power load management main station to achieve load monitoring. It is also a terminal product with high practical value in the power marketing automation system.

After a power outage, the energy meter can be awakened by pressing a button for meter reading, or by using an infrared communication port for meter reading. If there is no button operation after the electric energy meter is awakened, it will automatically cycle through the display and then turn off the LCD display. If there is a button operation, the LCD display will be turned off after 30 seconds of button operation
When both external power sources are cut off, the energy meter is powered by the internal battery to maintain uninterrupted operation. At the same time, the energy meter automatically enters a sleep state to reduce battery power consumption. When the external power source resumes power supply, the energy meter exits the sleep state. In sleep mode, it can be awakened through infrared or button pressing
