The DL2038 biotoxicity online analyzer is a result of the Jiangsu Province environmental protection research project "Development of an online automatic analyzer for measuring water quality biotoxicity using flow injection fluorescence spectrophotometry". It uses luminescent bacteria (Vibrio fischeri) as the test organism and can directly and objectively reflect the comprehensive toxicity of water to organisms (luminescent bacteria). This online monitoring instrument can respond to the biotoxicity of thousands of biological/chemical pollutants and has the characteristics of continuous, rapid, and automatic monitoring. It also has high sensitivity and reliability, ensuring that supervisory agencies can respond quickly to changes in water quality. It provides a fast and effective method for comprehensive protection of water supply safety and environmental supervision, and provides advance monitoring for environmental emergencies, as well as monitoring of surface water bodies, drinking water, etc. Warning function.

working principle:

The luminescent bacteria can continuously and stably emit visible fluorescence under normal physiological conditions. These luminescent bacteria are extremely sensitive to changes in the surrounding environment. When toxic substances in the water sample come into contact with luminescent bacteria, the luminescence intensity of the luminescent bacteria will rapidly change. The luminescence intensity of the control solution and water sample were measured separately to calculate the luminescence inhibition rate. Since the toxicity of the water sample is directly proportional to the luminescence inhibition rate, that is, the greater the toxicity, the greater the inhibition rate. Therefore, the toxicity of the water sample can be indirectly evaluated by the luminescence inhibition rate.
