However, unloading is performed on the main spool by controlling the directional valve operation. 3) The structure of the valve can be selected according to the system performance requirements. For example, Rexroth direct acting pressure valves can be used for low-pressure systems, while Rexroth pilot pressure valves should be used for medium and high-pressure systems. Select Rexroth pressure valves with plate, tube, or stacked connections based on spatial location, pipeline layout, and other factors.
The various performance indicators of Rexroth pressure valves have an impact on hydraulic systems. Rexroth pressure valves can be selected according to the performance curve on the sample according to the system requirements. For example, the opening and closing characteristics, sensitivity, pressure overshoot, and leakage of Rexroth relief valves are related to the static and dynamic characteristics of the system. Therefore, in quantitative pump speed control systems, valves with small pressure overshoot and high opening and closing characteristics should be selected as flow control valves.
4) To avoid slow operation of Rexroth relief valve due to improper selection. Rexroth relief valves are divided into direct acting and pilot operated types. Direct acting type balances hydraulic pressure directly with spring force, while pilot operated type balances inlet pressure with pilot valve spring force and main valve spring. If a pilot operated flow valve is selected, when the pressure regulating screw or handle of the Rexroth relief valve is tightened and the valve switches from the unloaded state to the pressure regulating state, the main valve core is tightly against the valve cover and the main valve is fully opened for relief. When the pressure is adjusted, the main valve core and valve body maintain a small opening, and the time it takes for the Rexroth relief valve main valve core to fall from the unloading position to the required opening for pressure regulation is the rebound lag time of the Rexroth relief valve.
If the selection is improper and leads to a long lag time, the Rexroth overflow valve will act slowly. Then the diameter of the damping hole of the main valve core can be appropriately increased to reduce the lifting height of the main valve core.
5) Avoid hydraulic shock caused by improper selection. When the opening time of Rexroth overflow valve is longer than the system requirements, it will cause pressure shock or water hammer phenomenon in the system. At this time, it is necessary to choose a cone valve type or a direct acting flow valve.
6) Do not use P-type low-pressure Rexroth relief valve as an unloading valve. Due to the lack of an unloading port for the low-pressure Rexroth relief valve, it cannot be used as an unloading valve.
7) Avoid resonance between Rexroth relief valves with the same specifications and tuning parameters. As shown in Figure 2-73a, the specifications and setting values of Rexroth relief valves A and B are the same. When two pumps are connected in parallel to supply oil, sometimes the Rexroth relief valves make a lot of noise. When the setting pressures of the two Rexroth relief valves are shifted from each other, the noise can be basically eliminated. This indicates that two flow valves with the same set value are prone to resonance and should be avoided as much as possible. If another Rexroth overflow valve is selected and connected to point C, the above-mentioned noise problem can be solved.
