This feature allows for connections without the risk of hose twisting or the need for additional adapters, which can also prevent leaks caused by incorrect assembly.

FD83The joint is designed to ensure reliable, leak free operation and easier maintenance, eliminating the risk of accidental disconnection or spillage.

The stainless steel structure and EPDM rubber seals provide extensive fluid compatibility and high corrosion resistance, achieving long lifespan and low maintenance costs in cooling applications using water ethylene glycol or other liquids. Alternative sealing materials and color coded bumper seals are also provided. End connection combinations can be used for various spatial configurations. The options include new sanitary flange terminal ends, as well as various sizes of threaded ports and hose hook connectors. These extensive configuration options make the connector suitable for many other fluid transport applications, where safety and low pressure drop are crucial.

The Danfoss Hansen FD83 series quick disconnect connector complies with PED 2014/68/EU § 4.3 standard. They provide a maximum working pressure of 10 bar (150 psi) and are suitable for working temperatures ranging from 3 ° C to 60 ° C (37 ° F to 140 ° F).
