Storage of anion and cation exchange resin:
The fat of ion exchange trees contains a certain amount of water, which should be kept as much as possible during transportation and storage. If the resin loses water during storage, it should be soaked in concentrated saline water (-10%) first, and then gradually diluted. It should not be directly placed in water to avoid rapid expansion and breakage of the resin. In long-term storage, strong type resins should be transformed into salt type, while weak type resins can be transformed into corresponding hydrogen type or free base type or salt type, and then soaked in clean water. Pre treatment of new resin:
New resins often contain solvents, substances that have not participated in polymerization reactions, and small amounts of low polymers, and may also adsorb heavy metal ions such as iron, aluminum, and copper. When the resin comes into contact with water, acid, alkali, or other solutions, the soluble impurities mentioned above will be transferred into the solution, contaminating the effluent quality in the early stages of use. So, the new resin needs to be pre treated before being put into operation.
Pre treatment of Yang resin
The pretreatment steps for cation resin are as follows:
Firstly, use saturated saline solution, which is approximately twice the volume of the treated resin. Soak the resin in the saline solution for 18-20 hours, then drain the saline solution and rinse with clean water to ensure that the discharged water does not turn yellow; Next, use a 2% -4% NaOH solution with the same amount as above, soak in it for 2-4 hours (or perform a low flow cleaning), drain the alkaline solution, and rinse the resin until the discharged water is close to neutral. Afterwards, use a 5% HCl solution with the same amount as above, soak for 4-8 hours, drain the acid solution, and use a clear solution
Drift the water to neutral for later use.
Pre treatment of Yin Resin
The steps in its pretreatment method are the same as those in the cation resin pretreatment method; Then use
