7、 Precautions for the use and maintenance of wet curtains
1. System usage
1) Water volume control
The water supply should ensure that the wet curtain is evenly soaked, with fine water flowing down along the ripples of the wet curtain. The water volume can be controlled by adjusting the water supply valve.
2) Water quality control
Keep the water source clean, with a pH between 6-9 and a conductivity of less than 1000 ohms. Regularly clean the water tank, circulating water system, etc. to ensure the cleanliness of the water supply system. To maintain good water quality (usually once a week), 3-5 ppm chlorine or bromine can be added to the water for short-term treatment to prevent the growth of algae or other microorganisms on the wet curtain surface. The concentration during continuous processing is 1ppm.
3) Water leakage treatment
Water droplets splash away from the wet curtain. Check if the water supply is too large: whether there are damaged wet curtains, broken edges or "flying edges".
There is water leakage at the joint. After stopping the water supply, apply silicone gel.
4) Wet curtain paper pad with uneven dryness and wetness
Adjust the water supply valve to control the water flow or replace the high-power water pump or large-diameter water supply pipe. Timely flush the water tank, water pump inlet, filter, spray supply pipe, etc., and remove dirt from the water supply circulation system.
2、 Wet curtain maintenance
1. Daily maintenance
Stop the fan 30 minutes after the water pump stops, ensuring that the dry and wet curtains are thoroughly dried once a day. After the system stops running, check if the accumulated water in the sink is drained to avoid the bottom of the wet curtain being immersed in water for a long time.
2. Wet curtain cleaning
Remove scale and algae from the surface of the wet curtain. After thoroughly drying the wet curtain, use a soft bristled brush to gently brush up and down, avoiding horizontal brushing. (You can first brush a part to check if the wet curtain can withstand brushing.) Then only start the water supply system to flush the scale and algae on the surface of the wet curtain. (Avoid washing the wet curtain with steam or high-pressure water)
3. Rat pest control
In seasons when wet curtains are not used, rodent control nets can be installed or rodenticides can be sprayed at the bottom of the wet curtains.
