[Main features and functions of the air conditioning water softener in the computer room]
■ Water production - When water containing calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+) flows through a resin layer at a certain pressure and flow rate, the binding ability between calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+) and the resin is greater than that between sodium ions (Na+) and the resin. Therefore, the calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+) in the water exchange with the sodium ions (Na+) on the resin, and the calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+) are adsorbed by the resin. Regeneration - When the sodium ions (Na+) on the resin are exchanged by the calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+) in the water, the resin loses its exchange capacity and must be regenerated with salt water. The regeneration process mainly includes: backwashing, saline suction, slow flushing (replacement), fast flushing (positive flushing), saline re injection and other processes.
■ Backwash - After regeneration begins, use water to backwash the resin from bottom to top. Its purpose is to loosen the resin layer compacted in the water making process, which is conducive to the full contact between the resin particles and the salt solution, making the regeneration more thorough; 2. Suspended solids accumulated on the resin surface during the water production process.
■ Saltwater suction - Saltwater enters the resin tank from the salt tank through the "jet salt suction device" with a fully automatic control valve.
Slow flushing (displacement) - High concentration sodium ions (Na+) in saline exchange with calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+) on the resin. After the calcium and magnesium ions (Ca2+, Mg2+) are exchanged, they are discharged with water. The sodium ions (Na+) in saline are adsorbed by the resin, and the resin regains its exchange capacity.
■ Quick wash (positive wash) - The purpose of quick wash (positive wash) is to remove residual salt solution in the resin layer and reduce chloride ions (Cl -).
■ Salt water re injection - During regeneration, the salt water in the salt tank is completely absorbed. Therefore, after regeneration, the water flow is controlled by a fully automatic control valve, and the salt tank is re injected with clean water to ensure the next regeneration use.
